With some sadness, we flew out of Tampa on Tuesday, March 4th and arrived in Las Vegas later in the afternoon. It was fun to spend a few more days with Felicity, Nathaniel and Asher. Our flight from Brownsville to Tampa was routed through Houston. All flights were on time; we arrived in Tampa at 8pm. Debbie was there to meet us. Mom and Dad arrived the next day, having driven for three days from Southampton, Ontario.
We were excited in anticipation of visiting with dear friends we had made while in China - Hugo Mejias, his wife Pamela Mejias-Anderson, and their lovely daughter, Joscelyn. (more…)
We headed off south of Las Vegas to Tucson, Arizona. The first leg of the journey took us away from Las Vegas and over the Hoover Dam.
Christmas dinner had us gathered around a make-shift long table at the timeshare in St. George.
We went to the St. George tabernacle for a Christmas Eve carol singing. How delightful to be gathered together singing the carols of Christmas.
Back at the timeshare, Cam, Ethan and Grace hung their stockings with care in hopes that St Nicolas soon would be there.

After Church on Sunday morning, we all gathered on the grounds of the historic St George Temple for family photos.
On Saturday evening, we traveled to Tuacahn, where we witnessed a beautiful presentation of the Nativity.
We spent Friday hiking in Zion National Park. Ethan and Grace enjoyed some resting time before we began our hike up to Angel’s Landing.

What a wonderful family day, spent hiking and enjoying the beauties of nature here in Zion.
We gather for our first meal together before Matthew arrived. What a wonderful location Jessica has secured for us - it’s just right!
